Chit Chat v.1

I originally got this idea from Casey and her coffee talk posts, and I thought it would be a great way for me to just blog about whatever. I always find myself wanting to blog about certain things but then losing interest before I get a chance to sit down and write. Or I don't think it's relevant to my blog. Or there's simply not enough there for me to put together a whole post. Whatever the reason, I just have tons of things I want to talk about or say, but I don't know how I should go about letting those thoughts out. So out of my jumbled thoughts, "Chit Chat" is born.

I mentioned several months ago that Bryan had won a trip to the Caribbean, and we were debating between Antigua and St Lucia as our destination of choice. We ended up choosing St Lucia, and we have been beyond excited to head to the island in December. BUT things have changed, and we've ultimately had to change our location. Instead of St Lucia, we'll now be spending four days and three nights in the Bahamas.

New Look

If you've been reading my blog for any length of time you probably noticed that I changed up my look a few weeks ago. I'd been playing with the idea of changing things for a while, and I decided to just go for it. And I absolutely love what this freshening up has done for my little corner of the web.

Labor Day

I finally finished blogging about mine and my mom's two-week trip to England! I'm still kinda shocked that it took me nearly three months to go through all my pictures and share my experiences with y'all. Definitely did not mean for it to take that long, but you know, whatevs.

So flashing back to a month ago - Labor Day weekend. Bryan's parents invited us and Bryan's brothers to their lake house for the holiday, so naturally we took them up on that offer. I, for one,  have been water deprived ever since moving to Atlanta four years ago for school, and I just made it worse for myself by moving to Tennessee. So I jump at any chance I get to be close to the shore, whether it's the ocean or a lake in South Carolina.
