The Old Weavers Restaurant

I wanted to share this restaurant in its own post because my mom and I both had the best lunches of our entire lives (not even kidding) at this place while we were visiting Canterbury for the day. You couldn't ask for a better meal with a better setting.

We were actually having a hard time deciding where we wanted to eat, and we stopped here simply because we were hungry and saw a couple dishes we figured we could eat on their menu. We then realized they had a garden patio out back and chose to sit there. WOW! Y'all, wow. When the hostess took us back to the patio and then sat us at a table right next to the river, my mom and I knew we made a good decision. By the time we had our first bite of food we were in heaven.

We actually got the last table next to the river, and all the other tables on the patio were taken before we even got our food. Talk about perfect timing. If that doesn't mean you made the right restaurant choice, I don't know what does. It was simply perfect, and it's a meal that I won't ever forget. I know it seems weird to get so worked up over a lunch, but The Old Weavers Restaurant was just that phenomenal. The sun was shining, the temperature was warm, and being on a garden patio next to an smooth-flowing river was the icing on top of the cake.

If you're ever visiting Canterbury, The Old Weavers Restaurant comes highly recommended.

1-3 St Petters Street, Canterbury, UK
