InstaLately: July Edition

Happy Monday! I figured I would take a break from the England posts today to update just a little about what's been going on this past month. Not too much but so, so much at the same time.

We spent 4th of July weekend up in the mountains of north Georgia. There were 13 of us who rented a house with an awesome view, and we were able to enjoy a lake nearby.

L: I went home for a few days after England, but the house was so bare. My parents are in the process of moving, so we were dealing with the bare minimal. Currently, they're working on fixing up one of our rental properties so it can be sold, and then they'll start tackling the properties. R: Before moving up to Knoxville we visited the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but it was neat to see where this local brew is made and to be able to taste the different beers.

And now Bryan and I are officially living in Knoxville! This the view from our third floor porch. Pretty great, right? We've been here for two weeks now, and we're almost settled. We've been working hard since we got up here, and just about everything is bought, organized, and in its place. Now we're just waiting for the semester to start and for me to find a job so we can get in a consistent routine. I'm hoping to get together a home tour post to show y'all our new place...maybe...if I can manage to take some decent pictures.

The past month and a half since getting home from England has been almost like slow motion. The month of July seemed to drag on as we were waiting to make this big move, and it's surreal that we're actually here now. It's taken some adjusting, but things are starting to come together. I'm excited to see what these coming years in Tennessee will hold.

  1. I'm so excited to see pics from your home tour ! Moving is such a slow, annoying, and exciting process - all at the same time lol

  2. Yes, it is! Everything is where it should be, but I still feel like more needs to be done. So annoying... I have too much time on my hands right now. Hopefully I'll be able to take decent pictures.
