Carousel

Just a quick post today to start off a very busy weekend. My mom and stepdad are on their way to Atlanta to pack up my apartment! I mentioned last month that Bryan and I are moving to Knoxville, and the weekend it happens is finally here.
I'm a ball of emotions right now, but at the end of the day I'm beyond excited to start this new phase of my life. I've been packing slowly over the past couple weeks, and now all of my stuff is in boxes and ready to go. When my parents get here, all of it will be loaded into the trailer to make the three hour journey to Knoxville tomorrow morning. Is this really happening?! I'll be sure to update y'all on the move once we get settled.

For now, these are a couple pictures I took while my mom and I were wandering South Bank. South Bank is a popular area and attracts all sorts of people with its live music and street performers. I loved seeing so much energy, but for me it was a little overwhelming. We were hungry and ready for dinner, and street performers kinda freak me out - especially when they choose me, of all people, to be the audience participation. (Fact: Introverts to do not make good audience volunteers.) Needless to say, I stayed farther back and kept walking while staring over my shoulder as we passed them. And then we happened upon this carousel, which we, of course, rode with the other 5-year-olds. And we loved it!
