Experience of a lifetime...

I have wanted to go skydiving ever since I can remember. I'm pretty sure I've wanted to do it since elementary school. There's something about an adrenaline rush combined with the idea of "once in a lifetime" that really pulls at me and sucks me in. And skydiving is the epitome of that.

Last fall I really got to thinking, and I decided that it's time to stop making excuses and to just make it happen. If I wanted to jump out of a plane, I should do it. And what better time to do it than the weekend after I graduated from college? It would be a celebration like no other. And thankfully, my mother has groomed me to keep a savings account since I lost my first tooth (thanks Mom), so I was able to afford to pay for not just myself but also Bryan (it was my graduation gift to him) on this little adventure. I literally had no reason to not book our jump, so after assuring my mom that everything would be fine I went online and made our reservations with Skydive Atlanta.

Y'all, this was seriously one of the most memorable experiences of my life. After waiting for five hours and worrying that bad weather would keep us from jumping, we finally loaded into the plane. That five minutes from the time I jumped to the moment I landed on the ground was absolutely incredible; it's hard to put into words how amazing it was. Skydiving - I recommend it to everybody. You have to do it at least once in your life. Just, wow!

If you've ever thought about skydiving, even just one time, sign yourself up and go. I never thought I could feel so safe or be so ready to do it again. It's a rush like no other, and it's an experience you will never forget. I promise.

  1. This looks incredible ... although I doubt I will ever have the guts to do it lol
