Taking Stock Again

Cue everyone making fun of my messed up toes...

Remember this post back in October? Well, being that the end of the year is drawing near I figured now would be a great time to take stock again. Sometimes it's the little things that give us the most joy, ya know?

Making: mental notes for mine and my mom's big trip in June. Any guesses where we're going?
Cooking: chocolate chip cookies when my mom gets home from work. I guess it's technically baking, but that's not an option.
Drinking: glühwein later this evening. I can't wait to make another batch.
Reading: nothing sadly. I wanted to read some over this break, but it just hasn't happened, and I can't see it happening before I head back to Kennesaw.
Wanting: time to speed up and slow down at the same time. I feel like I'm at a cross roads of wanting to dive into the future head first and wanting to just stay where I'm at for as long as I possibly can.
Looking: at these peanut blossom cookies that we made yesterday. I think I know what I'll be eating once I finish this post.
Playing: Candy Crush again. I got stuck on level 181 for like three months and didn't play as much, but I finally beat it, and now I'm all over that game.
Wasting: away again in Margaritaville... Okay, not really. But I've been enjoying my wine this whole break, and I'm by the beach, so it works.
Wishing: for flight prices to go down.
Enjoying: some good ole R&R. I love being home.
Waiting: patiently for 2014. I have a feeling there will be many big moments this coming year.
Liking: all my Christmas presents!
Wondering: if my parents will just leave the Christmas tree up for the rest of the time I'm home.
Loving: all the home-cooked meals I've had since I've been home.
Hoping: the weather will warm up again. It was 80 degrees a couple days ago. 80!
Marveling: at how many people my age and younger are getting engaged/married/pregnant. WE ARE TOO YOUNG, PEOPLE!
Needing: some clothes for a small ski trip next week with Bryan and his friends.
Smelling: the end of the holidays. Does anyone else notice how Christmas trees just smell different after the 25th?
Wearing: my Gamma Phi Beta spirit jersey, yoga pants, my new house slippers, and a lot of dog hair.
Following: someone else's lead for once. It takes two to make a relationship work.
Noticing: that I can't please everybody.
Thinking: about what I'm going to do with one of my plants. I think it's gotten too big for my apartment...
Feeling: nervous for spring semester to start. The beginning of the end...
Opening: my eyes to reality.
Giggling: at my dog. Y'all, he is so funny. So much expression and personality.
