Lighthouse #4

AND ANOTHER ONE - FOUR IN ONE MONTH. I'm not sure how it didn't click in my head, but I didn't realize Key West had a lighthouse until we were there and walking around the shops and restaurants. And I mean, obviously there would be a lighthouse there because it's a popular island. How this did not register till we were there is beyond me.
But anyway, once we figured out where it was, my stepsister and I got the student discount and climbed to the top. There was a pretty view from the top, but unfortunately it was a little crowded, and there was barely any room to maneuver around people. But c'est la vie I suppose. I still enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the info sheet we were given, so I can't give you much history, which kinda bums me out because I would really like to know what the deal is with the life size human figurines around the lighthouse. There was also a small museum on site, but we decided to bypass it in favor of lunch at Margarittaville.
