1000 Places: The Florida Keys

FINAL TRIP OF THE SUMMER. The first week of August my family and I decided to pack up our RV and drive down to the Florida Keys for a few days before I started back to college.
It really was a total whim that we went. We planned it maybe a month in advance, maybe even three weeks. It was very spur of the moment. But I had never been to the Keys before, so naturally I was all for it. It's also another place in my book, and obviously I wanted to check it off.

Unfortunately, I didn't take near as many pictures as I thought I would. I guess I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't really take out my camera too much. But I still have a few things I want to share with all of you, and I'll start doing that later this week. But to start it off, I just wanted to share this one picture I discovered while going through my photos. I totally love it, and the crazy thing is that this picture was actually taken on accident. My autofocus wasn't working properly, and as I was trying to fix it I accidently took this picture. We stayed at a really beautiful RV campground, which I'll share more about later on, while we were there, and this was our site's dock. I love the lighting, the water is almost perfectly still, the colors are great. I'm just obsessed with this picture - so much so that I felt it deserved its own post. I didn't even edit it at all. But I'll stop gloating... Check back later this week for more from the Keys!
