A Belated Happy Holidays

I know I've been absent from the blogging world lately. Honestly, I've just really enjoyed finishing up fall semester and taking time to spend time with the ones I love. I mean, that's what the holidays are all about, right? But 2012 is coming to a close, and I'm hoping to really step up my blogging game starting in January. It'll be one of my resolutions. And I keep up with my resolutions, so no worries!

With that said, I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season regardless of what you celebrate. As much as I hate the winter, the holiday season is one of my favorite times of year, and I have loved being able to spend this special time with my family. This is my first winter break since starting college that I've been able to decide what it is I want to do and where it is I want to be. The week following exams I stayed in Kennesaw to spend time with Bryan. Then a week ago I came home to the Georgia coast. My break has been very relaxing - just what I've needed. I have two weeks left before spring semester starts up, and I'm just hoping that these last couple weeks will be just as relaxing as the first.

Now I'm going to scarf up some holiday cookies. My mom and I baked peanut blossoms last night, and they are super delicious!

Happy (belated) Holidays!
