Hello, Kennesaw!

I've made it back to Kennesaw safe and sound! It definitely feels good to be back, and I couldn't be more ready to start fall semester. Like I've been saying, I have a lot of things I'm looking forward to, so I'm feeling incredibly positive and optimistic about the next few months. Here's to hoping everything lives up to my expectations. I don't have much to say right now considering I haven't done too much of anything since moving back to college, so to keep this post mildly interesting here's a list of things I desperately need to buy for my apartment:

  • A microwave
  • A very large wall map of the world for my living room
  • This canvas for my bedroom
  • A coffee table
  • Nightstands
  • 3M strips to hang up pictures
  • Patio furniture
  • Clothes to fill my closet
  • Netflix
Yes, you read that correctly. I don't have Netflix. What kind of college student am I? Hopefully I'll be able to get this list dwindled down to nothing before too long because my apartment definitely feels a little bare.

And to all you students out there, college or high school, good luck to you this school year. If you're like me and still enjoying your last few days of summer, I hope your first day of classes goes smoothly. And to all of you who are already on that grind, I hope your first days back have been a success and that the rest of the year follows suit. I have a feeling there will be a lot of good to come from this year for me, and I'm hoping these good vibes rub off on y'all, too!

Also, here's a picture of my mom and me from my stepbrother's engagement party last weekend. Nothing is better than family.
