Day 3: Your Parents

I love my parents. I really do. They have always been there for me, stood behind me, and supported me in everything I do. And thankfully I've been fortunate enough to have parents that have given me the world. Because of them I was able to go to summer camp for seven years. They sent me to North Carolina and Tennessee, Idaho and Wyoming, and Hawaii. They've taken me to multiple islands in the Caribbean. They allowed me to play club soccer and do competitive cheerleading. Because of them I went to a private school for 12 years and am currently able to go to college without having to worry. Because of them I'm going to Germany this summer.

My parents have always gone above and beyond the call of duty for me. Whenever I desperately want something (and I don't mean something stupid like a new phone or expensive clothes) they tell me, "Don't worry about it. If you want it, we'll make it happen." And I know that makes me sound spoiled, but I appreciate everything my parents have been able to give me. They have done all they can, and will continue to do all they can, to allow me to experience the beauty of life. And I'm eternally grateful for them. My parents really are the most amazing people I know. I only hope that I'm able to live up to the standards they have set.
